Alhadi is from Darfur, Sudan. He's a human rights activist and a poet. In the fall of 2010, he followed a civic integration programme at bon. That’s 3 years ago, and Alhadi is now a recognised refugee. He does volunteer work, follows language courses, he remains active on international forums, and he participates in poetry festivals and artistic projects.
Please mark your calendars: the next set of integration courses will start the 27th of May 2013! This time, we’re offering courses in Arabic, English, French, Pashto, Russian, Spanish, Tibetan and Turkish.
bon started a new project on diploma equivalency, financed by Actiris in collaboration with Ciré. The project will run for 3 years. A new colleague for diploma equivalency will help unemployed jobseekers who have a foreign diploma to equalize their degree.

Geert Daems, coordinator of the reception and programme counselors at bon, just came back from a visit to Québec. He wrote down a few of his thoughts and impressions.
Participate in the first edition of BOCA MUNDO on 28/3! Brussels belongs to the world and the whole world is represented in Brussels. MuntPunt and bon vzw bring people with different backgrounds together for BOCA MUNDO. The intention is to have conversations about universal themes such as norms and values. The first edition will be devoted to books. With a world snack and a drink. The spoken language will be English.
Sidi Diarra is 30 years old and comes from Mauretania. Two years ago, he followed the civic integration programme at bon. In the spring of 2012, Sidi followed a stage technician assistant introductory programme. And in June 2012, he was given the opportunity to do an internship at the KVS.
Today, bon launches an advertising campaign in Brussels. Look for our posters in the metro, trams, and throughout the city.
